The 220VAC to 12VDC 2A switching power supply is a high-quality power supply, designed for safe and long-lasting operation in electronic projects that require a 12V DC voltage. It connects directly to the 220VAC mains and provides 12VDC at the output, with a current of up to 2A, through a standard 5.5x2.1mm male plug, one of the most common DC connector formats in electronics.

Usage:
Check that the powered equipment operates at 12VDC and has a compatible 5.5x2.1mm female connector.
Check that the current requirement of the circuit does not exceed 2A. For long-term operation, it is recommended to leave a reserve of about 20%, meaning a consumption of no more than 1.6A.
Before first use, check the polarity of the connector with a multimeter and compare it with the one required by the powered equipment.
With the power supply disconnected from the outlet, insert the 12V plug into the powered equipment.
Connect the power supply to the 220VAC outlet.
When disconnecting, first unplug the power supply from the outlet and only then remove the plug from the equipment.
In the case of Arduino boards, 12V is at the upper limit of the recommended range for the DC jack, and the regulator on the board may heat up if you power large loads from the 5V pin. For such loads, use a separate power supply.
Warning
The power supply connects to the 220VAC mains voltage, which is dangerous and can cause electric shock. Do not open the power supply housing, do not use it if the cable or housing is damaged, and do not expose it to moisture, water, or high temperatures. Make any modifications to the circuit only with the power supply unplugged. Keep the power supply out of reach of children.
