PCB thermal transfer foil, A4
A4 thermal transfer foil for PCB prototypes, ideal for fast transfer of traces onto copper with laser printers. Print on the glossy side, attach to the board and transfer with an iron, then peel off easily for a clear outline. Allows for simple corrections with alcohol or acetone before etching. Minimum quantity 20 pieces.

Thermal transfer foil for making PCB prototypes.
Used with laser printers.
Foil size: A4
The foil is used only with laser printers.
1 - Print the circuit on the glossy side.
2 - Place the foil with the design onto the PCB and fix it in place
3 - With an iron, "iron" over the foil. The heat will transfer the ink onto the copper surface of the PCB. Experiment with ironing times and temperature until you get a satisfactory result.
4 - Peel the foil off the PCB.
5 - If the result is not as desired, the traces left can be erased with alcohol (or acetone) and repeat the previous steps.
6 - If the result is okay, immerse the PCB in ferric chloride (warning, it releases toxic fumes) and leave it until all the copper on the board has dissolved, leaving only the tracks behind.
7 - Clean the board well with water and soap and clean the tracks of printer ink with alcohol.
