Motor Overload Protection Module, 6-28V, 5A, PWM DC
It protects DC motors and circuits powered by 6-28V against overcurrent, short circuit and motor stall, also compatible with PWM control. It allows adjustment of the current threshold and trip delay, operates in automatic mode with timed reset or manually via jumper, and the power and alarm LEDs provide quick diagnosis.

Current (overcurrent) protection module, GZ03, ideal for protecting DC-powered circuits against overcurrent, short circuits and motor blocking.
The module is specifically usable with DC motors and also supports motors powered by PWM signals.
It offers automatic or manual protection and allows setting of essential parameters such as current limit, trip delay time and reset time. It is equipped with status LEDs for power and alarm signaling, facilitating quick monitoring of the system status.
It accepts inductive or resistive loads but with different maximum current (8A maximum for resistive loads, 5A maximum for inductive loads such as motors).
It has an Automatic reset function, meaning that when an overcurrent condition is detected, the timer will be triggered and the power will be restored after the time set in the potentiometer. It can be used in manual mode (via jumper), which requires manual reset after the overcurrent has been detected.
It also allows setting the delay on disconnection (potentiometer marked with delay time or overload sensitivity). Depending on how it is set, the protection is activated with a certain delay after the overcurrent condition above the set limit is detected.

Use:
Caution! Make sure the power is off before connecting. Do not reverse the polarity of the power wires as this may damage the device!
Connect the wires according to the connection diagram (see image).
Select the desired operating mode via jumper:
AUTO (automatic mode – automatic reset)
MANUAL (manual mode – reset by button)
Adjust the potentiometers for:
Trigger delay time
Maximum allowed current limit
Reset time (automatic mode only)
Turn on the power.
In case of tripping (red LED on), eliminate the cause of the overcurrent. Auto mode will reset automatically. In manual mode, press the reset button or turn the power off and on again.
