10K linear slide potentiometer module, compatible with Arduino and other development boards, is an electronic device used for adjusting the voltage level in analog circuits.
Due to its elongated construction, it allows quick and precise manual adjustment of the variable resistance, making it suitable for Arduino projects, educational experiments, and control applications.
It operates at 3.3V or 5VDC, has an analog output, and can be used for reading the slider position in real time.
Specifications:
Operating voltage: 3.3V / 5VDC
Potentiometer type: slide
Resistance: 10K
Output: analog
Dimensions: 90 x 20 mm
Pinout:
| Arduino Uno | Linear Potentiometer |
|---|---|
| 5V | VCC |
| GND | GND |
| A0 | DTB |
Usage:
The module is connected to power via the VCC and GND pins, and the analog output DTB is connected to an analog pin of the microcontroller, for example A0 on the Arduino Uno.
By moving the slider, the output voltage changes progressively, and the value can be read by the microcontroller to control other components, such as the brightness of an LED, the speed of a motor, or the position in a menu.
When connecting an LED to the microcontroller, it requires a resistor of at least 220 Ohms to prevent damage to the microcontroller.
