Frequency to Voltage conversion module that converts a pulse signal into analog voltage, so that the input frequency is converted into a proportional 0-10V level.

It operates on 13.5V-30V power supply and accepts input frequencies between 0 and 1 kHz, making it suitable for interfacing with pulse sensors, encoders or digital outputs.

The output voltage is adjustable by potentiometer, allowing fine calibration of the frequency-voltage relationship depending on the application. The input is made with optocoupler isolation, for better protection and resistance to interference.

For integration with PLC, the module can work with NPN type signals, provided there is a common ground wire.

Use:

Power the module at VCC and GND with a source between 13.5V and 30V.

Connect the pulse signal to terminal F and its ground to GND.

Reads the analog voltage on Vout relative to GND, in the range 0-10V.

Adjust the potentiometer to calibrate the relationship between frequency and output voltage until you get the desired correspondence.

For PLCs with NPN inputs, it is mandatory to provide a common ground wire between the equipment, the module requires a common ground.

If you are using an encoder, keep the rotation at a constant speed for at least 0.5 seconds for a stable measurement.

 

Precautions:

The input signal can be 5V, 12V or 24V and can be connected directly, but the frequency must be maintained for at least 0.5 seconds for stabilization.

The module has a response time of approximately 0.3-0.5 seconds, sudden frequency changes require time for the voltage to stabilize.

The input is optically isolated for anti-interference, but keep signal cables away from strong sources of electrical noise when possible.

All GNDs are common, use proper ground and firm connections for stable measurements.
