This ESC represents a compact and flexible solution for applications requiring high speeds and precise speed control of brushless motors without Hall sensors (sensorless), simplifying integration into industrial systems or DIY projects. It operates within a voltage range of 6-24 VDC and can deliver a continuous current of 30A, extended to 50A with active cooling, supporting a maximum power of 1000W.

Speed control is achieved either through an external potentiometer (0-5V) or via an analog signal of 0-4.5V from a PLC or microcontroller, providing direct compatibility with industrial automation systems.

The module includes forward/reverse and active braking functions, all controlled by a contact to ground.

The construction with 18 MOS transistors in SMD technology ensures high efficiency and passive cooling through the board’s surface, while integrated protections against overload, motor stall with automatic restart, and overheating with automatic power reduction guarantee safe operation in demanding applications.

Maximum supported speeds vary depending on the number of motor poles: 224000 RPM for 2-pole motors, 74000 RPM for 6-pole, 40000 RPM for 12-pole, and 35000 RPM for 14-pole, covering a wide range of applications.

Usage:

Connect the motor phases (U, V, W) to the corresponding ESC outputs.

Power the ESC with a voltage between 6 and 24 VDC on the VCC and GND pins.

If the motor rotates in the opposite direction of the desired one, swap two of the three phases between them.

For potentiometer control: turn clockwise to increase speed and counterclockwise to reduce it. Start the motor at minimum speed.

For external control via PLC or microcontroller (0-4.5V): disconnect the potentiometer and connect the analog signal and ground to the control board input terminals.

The forward/reverse and active braking functions are activated by contact to ground according to the module’s schematic.

At first use, test at low voltage and reduced current to verify correct operation.

If working near currents of 50A, ensure active cooling with a heat sink and fan.

Do not short-circuit the motor outputs during operation.
