Smart digital charger with double output, each capable of providing a maximum power of 250W, for charging several types of accumulators.
The maximum power is 500W, with the possibility of directing it entirely on a single channel using the Synchronous charging function through which the two outputs are connected in parallel to charge a single accumulator (or several in parallel) with a maximum power of 500W .
The screen is IPS type, color, with navigation in the settings with the help of the navigation wheel that acts as a button when pressed.
The ToolKitRC charger measures the resistance of each cell in real time, which helps to check the health of the battery.
One of the features that make this charger special is the recycling mode. For example, when we have batteries charged but not used, they will have to be brought to storage mode ( Storage Mode ), that is, we must discharge them to a voltage of 3.85V per cell. In most chargers, this is done internally by using a resistor that discharges by generating heat. The Recycling mode allows the charger to be powered with an accumulator that will be charged by the battery that is to be kept by discharging. This type of bringing the accumulators into storage mode is much faster because the discharge can be done with a maximum power of 500W, compared to the 12W through the internal mode.
3 different inputs can be set: Accumulator or Source. For each, the parameters such as minimum voltage and maximum input voltage are established. When using an external battery, this allows the battery to be used only in the preset voltage range. For example, if we have an external 4S battery, we set the minimum voltage somewhere above 12V and the maximum voltage up to 16.8V, at your choice. Upon reaching the respective thresholds, the battery used as the source will stop charging, both in charging mode and in recycling mode.
The internal fan ensures optimal cooling, starting in 2 stages depending on the measured temperature.
Important: The charger may come from the factory set in Chinese. Setting it to English may require a firmware update (file available in the downloads section). The update process is simple. It is connected to the PC (directly, without Hub) through the cable provided in the package, the charger will appear as an external drive, and the app.upg file that you find in the archive is copied directly to the external drive. You can find information related to the upgrade process directly in the file in the downloads section.
If you want us to check and possibly perform the firmware update, mention this in the comments. In that case, the charger will arrive unsealed.
The voltage source (power supply) is not included in the package!
To be able to use the Recycle function, you will have to set the Battery as the power source. In Adapter mode, only normal download is available. DO NOT DISCHARGE BATTERIES WITH THE RECYCLE FUNCTION UNLESS YOU USE A BATTERY AS THE SOURCE!
