This buck (step-down) DC-DC converter is designed to convert a variable input voltage (5-80V) to a stable 9V output voltage, ideal for powering USB devices, microcontrollers (Arduino, ESP32, STM32), sensors, or other circuits. The aluminum substrate ensures efficient heat dissipation, allowing operation at higher currents without overheating. The module is suitable for photovoltaic systems, wind turbines, onboard power supplies, or any application requiring a stable 9V source from a highly fluctuating input.

The converter provides a continuous current of 1.25A and a peak current of 1.5A, with an efficiency of over 90%.

Usage:

Connect the DC power source (solar panel, battery, laboratory power supply) to the VIN+ and VIN- terminals, respecting the polarity. Do not reverse the polarity, as there is a risk of damaging the module.

Before connecting the load, measure the output voltage with a multimeter; it should be approximately 9V.

After verification, connect the device to be powered to the OUT+ and OUT- terminals. Ensure that the load does not exceed the maximum current.
