Breakout Board for ATX Power Supply with 24 Pins, with multiple voltage output housing (supplied from ATX, respectively 12V, -12V, 5V, 5VSB, 3.3V) and 6 USB 5V2A outputs. Also includes a remote control tester with IR (Infrared)
This 24-pin ATX Power Supply Breakout Board is an efficient and practical solution to turn an ATX power supply into a multifunctional power supply unit. With support for multiple output voltages and an included acrylic case for protection, this module is ideal for developers, hobbyists and professionals looking to power various electronic devices, tests or DIY projects. It is compatible with 20- and 24-pin ATX power supplies and offers a simple interface for connecting electronic components.
Each power outlet is equipped with an LED indicator to signal normal operation. The +12V and -12V outputs are indicated with a blue LED, and +5V, 5VSB, and 3.3V are indicated with a red LED.
Works with all 20- and 24-pin ATX power supplies, allowing easy reuse of old power supplies for other purposes.
It includes 6 USB ports that can provide an output of 5V and 2.1A for each port, perfect for charging mobile devices, powering electronic gadgets or testing projects.
The high voltage terminals support currents up to 20A, ensuring stable and safe connections without contact problems.
The module includes an infrared function for testing electronic devices such as TV remote controls, air conditioners or other devices, verifying their correct operation.
It is equipped with a durable touch switch, with a lifespan of up to 550,000 cycles, for easy and long operation.
The board also has an XH2.54 terminal that allows integration with a microcontroller to start and stop the module.
Specifications:
Output voltages: +12V, -12V, +5V, 5VSB, +3.3V
LED indicators: +12V and -12V (blue), +5V, 5VSB and 3.3V (red)
USB ports: 6, output 5V, max. 2.1A per port
Current terminals: Supports 20A, maximum voltage 300V
Microcontroller compatibility: Yes, XH2.54 plug for ON-OFF
Plate size: 118 x 63 mm
Use:
Connect a compatible 20- or 24-pin ATX power supply to the breakout board. Make sure the power source is off before making the connection.
Use the touch switch on the breakout board to turn the power supply on or off. The switch has a lifespan of up to 550,000 cycles, allowing repeated use.
Check the LED indicators to ensure that each output voltage is working correctly:
+12V and -12V are indicated by blue LEDs.
+5V, 5VSB and 3.3V are indicated by red LEDs.
If the LEDs do not light up, check the connections or the voltage of the power supply.
It uses the reserved XH2.54-2P terminals to control the ATX power supply with a microcontroller. Connect the microcontroller's IO ports to the control terminals to turn the power supply on or off remotely.
The infrared function allows testing electronic devices such as TV remote controls, air conditioners and other devices that work based on infrared signals. You can check if they work correctly using the breakout board.
Make sure that the ATX power supply is adequate and does not exceed the specified current of 20A on the terminals.
To turn off the power supply, press the touch switch again and wait for all the LEDs to turn off. After that, you can safely disconnect the devices.
