The test hook with wire and Dupont female connector is a measuring accessory designed for the quick connection of logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and development boards to test points, integrated circuit pins, terminals, or SMD components. The hook attaches to the test point and remains fixed without soldering, while the other end of the wire connects to the input pins of the measuring device.
The product is a flexible cable of approximately 28 cm, equipped at one end with a spring-loaded test hook (clip), and at the other end with a single-contact Dupont female connector. The hook opens by pressing the plastic body, exposing a retractable tip that grips the leg of an integrated circuit, a trace, or a terminal. The Dupont female connector is inserted onto male header pins, for example on the probes of a logic analyzer.
Among the main features are the spring-loaded test hook, the insulated and flexible wire, the Dupont female connector for solder-free mounting, and the test terminal available in several colors. The product is passive and does not require power. One piece is supplied, with a black terminal and the wire color chosen at random.
Thanks to the Dupont female connector, the hook can be used with logic analyzers and with any board or module that has standard 2.54 mm male pins, including Arduino, ESP32, STM32, or Raspberry Pi boards, when they are fitted with pin headers.

Usage:
Insert the Dupont female connector onto the male pin of the logic analyzer or the board you want to connect the signal to, making sure the contact is firm.
Press the body of the hook to expose the retractable tip, attach it to the desired test point, then release it so the spring secures the contact.
Check that the hook tip grips only one test point and does not touch nearby pins or traces, to avoid short circuits.
Always connect a ground wire (GND) from the analyzer or measuring device to the ground of the circuit under test.
Do not use the hook on circuits under dangerous voltages and do not exceed the voltages and currents allowed by the connected measuring device.
For stable results, use the shortest possible cables and avoid pulling or repeatedly bending the wire near the connector.
Before removing the hook, turn off or disconnect the tested circuit, then press the body of the hook and gently withdraw it from the test point.
