The XH-W1412 Digital Temperature regulator module, with heating and cooling function, with LED display, is a device designed to monitor and control the temperature in various applications. Based on microcomputer technology, the XH-W1412 ensures precise temperature measurement and regulation.
It is powered at 12VDC, the difference between it and the 220VAC module is represented by the lack of transformer added on the back of the board.
Its compact and intuitive design facilitates integration in different systems and projects, from home heating to industrial applications. The luminescent LED display provides a clear and fast reading of the temperature, allowing the user to monitor the set parameters and measured values in real time.
With the help of the buttons, the user can easily set the desired parameters, including the temperature value at which he wants to trigger the heating or cooling actions.
It is recommended to install it in a place protected from humidity and large temperature variations, as well as a periodic check of correct operation.
The module has an output LED.
The product comes in the form of a kit, as it is necessary to assemble the face of the module. It does not have installation instructions. The display is dual, Chinese and English being displayed on the screen at the same time. It may contain the connection diagram in the package provided by the manufacturer, but in Chinese.

Use:
Possible errors: LLL is displayed when the probe is not connected or the probe circuit is interrupted. HHH is displayed when the probe circuit is short-circuited or the temperature exceeds the maximum limit of 110 degrees C.
Calibration: If the displayed temperature and the actual one are imprecise, there is the possibility to calibrate the module. Long press the SET button for 3 seconds. Adj will appear on the top right display. At this moment we are in calibration mode and the measured temperature can be corrected using the UP and DOWN buttons.
Heating mode: Press the CONFIRM button, following that the START temperature and the STOP temperature will flash alternately with each press on the right side. While the temperature is flashing, the UP and DOWN buttons change the respective temperature value. For the heating mode, it is necessary that the Start temperature < the STOP temperature . The module will actuate the relay at a low temperature and turn off the relay at the Stop target temperature. The heating mode is indicated on the display with the sun symbol.
Cooling mode: Press the CONFIRM button, following that the START temperature and the STOP temperature will flash alternately with each press on the right side. While the temperature is flashing, the UP and DOWN buttons change the respective temperature value. For the cooling mode it is necessary that the Start temperature > the STOP temperature . The module will actuate the relay at a high temperature and turn off the relay at a lower target temperature. The cooling mode is indicated on the display with the snowflake symbol.
Connection: The 12VDC power supply is marked on the back. This module shares the PCB with the 220VAC version, for this reason you will also find the inscriptions N and L together with the + and - (or GND) connection indications. The consumer will connect in series with the relay of the module.
