Step-down voltage module, DC-DC, XH-M401, which uses the XL4016E1 regulator chip, is a budget solution for applications that require precise and reliable voltage adjustment over a wide range. It allows continuous adjustment of the output voltage between 1.25 and 36V, with a maximum current capacity of 8A, ideal for equipment with high power demands.
Recommended for long-term use at a current of up to 5A to ensure optimal lifespan.
This module is equipped with multiple integrated protections, including overcurrent, overtemperature, and short circuit protection. To facilitate cooling, using an external fan is recommended under heavy loads, which increases reliability and operational safety.
The module uses PWM modulation at a frequency of 180KHz with a dual MBR10200 rectifier to adjust the output voltage.
Voltage adjustment is intuitive, possible via a control button that allows quick output adjustment or shutdown. This module offers a conversion efficiency of up to 94%.

Usage:
Ensure the input power supply is stable and does not exceed 40V. Correctly connect the input and output terminals according to the polarity indicated directly on the PCB.
Use the adjustment button to set the output voltage to the desired value between 1.25 and 36V. Monitor with a voltmeter to ensure the selected voltage.
For currents above 5A, use an external fan to prevent overheating and maintain optimal performance.
For long-term use, check the module and cooling system to avoid overheating.
