The Resin Atomization Pen is designed to detect short circuits on motherboards by quickly and effortlessly highlighting overheating components.

It is a tool that vaporizes the resin by heating, turning it into a heavy steam that will deposit a white layer over the motherboard. When an integrated circuit covered by the heavy steam layer overheats, the deposited white layer will melt, allowing the overheated integrated circuit to be observed, thus easily determining the location of a short circuit.

Equipped with a thick glass reservoir, it offers a precise and efficient way to locate defects through controlled application of resin.

It is recommended to use crystallized resin (sacasse). The flux will generate heavy vapor but will not deposit the white layer over the components, necessary to detect the short circuit. Do not heat the resistor for more than 10 seconds! You risk burning it! Do not use without resin! The resistor will turn red and burn!

Use:

Insert the resin crystal into the resistor.

Activate the device by pressing the heating button 5 times.

Heat until the crystal melts and the liquid is absorbed into the cotton of the resistance.

Place the bottle and the black tip with the hole in it. The black tip has a hole that allows the heavy vapor to flow.

Hold the button down to create steam inside the bottle. We recommend spraying with the pen in a horizontal position to avoid leaking molten resin. Do not tilt excessively as this may cause the liquid to leak.

Apply heavy steam to the suspected area of the motherboard. The area where the steam is applied will turn white. After powering up the board, in the place where there is a short circuit, the white layer deposited will melt, making it easy to spot the shorted IC.

Clean the plate of any remaining vaporized resin.

Monitor the heating time, limiting it to 10-15 seconds to avoid overheating or damaging the resistance.
