The Frequency Signal Generator Module, PWM, represents an ideal solution for electronics professionals and enthusiasts who require a source of PWM pulses and square waves in a wide range of applications. With compact dimensions, this device is designed to easily fit into any workbench or system without sacrificing functionality.
This frequency generator accepts a range of supply voltages from 5 to 12V DC, providing an output signal amplitude of 5-12 Vpp at 50mA. This allows users to tailor signal levels for a wide range of test and development requirements.
The device offers maximum flexibility with the possibility of emitting both positive pulses, for a transition from low to high, and negative pulses, for a transition from high to low, allowing you to customize the output according to the needs of your circuit.
The frequency adjustment range is vast and divided into three distinct categories for maximum finesse in selection: from 1Hz to 100Hz, from 100Hz to 10KHz and from 1KHz to 100KHz, so that you can precisely select the desired frequency for your application . The frequency can be finely adjusted from the multi-turn potentiometer in the range set by the jumper (see the back of the module).
The generator features pulse width modulation (PWM) with a total of 11 adjustment positions, from a 0 output for the full stop state, through a range of 10% - 90% for positions 1-9, and up to an output of 100 % active for position 10. This level of pulse width control makes it ideal for applications that require fine tuning of the output signal.
Usable as a square wave generator, frequency source and in various applications that require frequency modulation and pulse width control, this signal generator is an essential tool for the development and testing of electronic systems.
