Logic level converter module, with optocoupler, compatible with Arduino and other development boards. The optocoupler separates two circuits by using light to transmit information. in the optocoupler there is an emitting diode and a phototransistor, isolated from the outside environment. Upon receiving light from the diode, the phototransistor is stimulated.

This type of optocoupler converter is used when it is desired to control some devices in isolation from the microcontroller due to the electrical noise produced by these devices, which can affect the processor and alter the transmitted information.

The maximum current supported by this module does not exceed 50mA, which is why it is necessary to use transistors if you want to control devices such as lights or motors.

Each of the 4 channels are totally independent from each other, for this reason they can be used with totally separate specifications.

There is a Jumper for each individual channel. If it is connected, input GND and output GND are connected. If it is removed, the two GNDs are completely isolated.

The limit frequency of this module is 4KHz.
