The intelligent laboratory source, RD6006W, with WiFi and USB control, can be connected both to the phone through the dedicated application or to the computer. Once connected, the control parameters can be adjusted directly from the application. The maximum voltage is 60VDC with a maximum current of 6A.

This source is mounted on the panel or in the case (available separately) and requires the use of a switching power supply of at least 65VDC with 10A recommended. Due to the voltage drop, using a 65VDC source you will be able to obtain the voltage of 60VDC in the laboratory source. Using a power supply with a lower voltage will limit the maximum voltage of the laboratory supply below the input voltage. It works in Buck (voltage-lowering) mode.

Accumulators can be charged due to operation in CC and CV mode. To load them, the dedicated port (Green) will be used.

The source has safety that can be easily changed.

It offers the function of memorizing the settings.

Firmware update can be done via PC.

The screen is a color one that provides information in real time about a multitude of parameters and the viewing mode can be changed between the standard and the graphic one.

Safety parameters such as voltage and current protection can be adjusted. Once one of these parameters is reached, the source will cut off the supply.

Notes:

- It needs a switching power supply. Using an AC/DC converter or a transformer requires the addition of a rectifier circuit and input filters (minimum 4700uF capacitors). When used with a transformer, voltage variations in the network can increase the output above the maximum limit of 70VDC, leading to the burning of the source.

- The use of scooter and electric scooter chargers is not recommended unless you are sure that these sources do not produce voltage peaks above 65V. Many chargers of this kind are made with cheap components and do not take these voltage peaks into account. Exceeding the supply voltage of 70VDC maximum will lead to the burning of the source and implicitly to the loss of the guarantee.

- Do not use low-quality sources: using a poor-quality source can generate voltage peaks above the allowed limit of 70VDC, which leads to the burning of the RD6006 source and the loss of the warranty.

- The use of inductive devices such as motors cannot exceed the limit of 1/3 (one third) of the rated current of the power supply (with a 10A power supply, the maximum current allowed on inductive loads is 3A).

- The input must be isolated from the output , otherwise the source will burn.
