This optical fiber transmission system for FPV drones is an advanced communication solution designed to ensure a stable and secure link between the drone and the ground station over a distance of up to 3 kilometers. The system uses an ultra-thin 0.5mm optical fiber, which allows simultaneous transmission of video signals and control commands, offering a superior alternative to traditional wireless systems in environments with strong electromagnetic interference.
The package includes both the module mounted on the drone (Sky terminal / Transmit Module) and a special box for storing and deploying the fiber during flight.
The optical fiber technology completely eliminates jamming and signal loss issues, making it ideal for critical missions, flights in tunnels, urban canyons, or areas with high RF signal density. Using the optical fiber, for example, underwater robots can be controlled at great depths without control or video stream transmission problems.
The Sky Terminal module (TX module) is connected to the FC (Flight Controller) and receives both the video signal and the TX and RX control serial for drone command, communicating with the ground module (Ground Module) via the optical fiber. The Ground Control module is reusable and sold separately.
Connecting the module to the FC is quite simple, as it is directly compatible with most flight controllers, and the configuration is easy considering the module's compatibility with standard TTL / ELRS / SBUS protocols.
The optical fiber is not reusable, at least the process of repacking it into the tube is difficult.
FOR OPERATION, THE GROUND MODULE IS MANDATORY, a reusable product sold SEPARATELY.

Usage:
Mount the Sky terminal module on the drone, connecting it to the flight controller according to the scheme:

Connect the optical fiber to the Sky terminal module via the FC interface (Optical Interface), ensuring it is securely fixed.
Prepare the fiber box, checking that the lock is unlocked before flight to allow free deployment of the fiber.
Connect the Ground terminal module to a 4S-6S power source via XT60 and to the FPV monitor/goggles. The Ground Terminal module is sold separately.
