Tester module for USB cables, DT3, designed to check the integrity and functionality of USB cables used for devices that use Lightning (iOS), Type C, MicroUSB and USB-A plugs. This tool is useful for detecting problems such as broken circuits in USB cables, but also for checking whether the USB cable has the data transmission function.
It is useful for troubleshooting problems related to USB cables and allows detecting the availability of the CC (Configuration Channel) function of Type-C cables, which ensures the determination of cable detection, cable orientation and its capacity to deliver the required current. This function was introduced as standard in USB-C type cables.

Use:
For operation, the module must first be powered through the Type-C port marked with Power-IN . At the top, after powering, the USB-A and USB Type-C ports remain free. These are used to connect the cable and connect to the three ports available at the bottom, i.e. Lightning , Type-C and MicroUSB .
It can also be used in the case of USB cables without a plug, by directly gluing the wires to the dedicated pads.
Observe the indicators on the DT3 board to determine the condition of the cable. Each lit LED indicates that the respective line is fully functional. The lack of lighting of the LED indicates a non-existent or interrupted line.
