Kit PiRacer AI Racing Robot designed for those passionate about artificial intelligence and autonomous driving. It is powered by a Raspberry Pi4 ( NOT INCLUDED ) and is based on the open-source DonkeyCar project, using deep learning technology to move autonomously, offering an interactive and engaging experience in the development of automatic learning algorithms. PiRacer combines the power of TensorFlow and OpenCV for image processing, facilitating the recognition and visual analysis of the route in real time.
The machine comes in the form of an UNASSEMBLED KIT and includes all the elements necessary to complete the project, except for the Raspberry Pi4 board and the 18650 cells (3 pieces required).
THE RASPBERRY PI4 BOARD IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE KIT!
PiRacer is built on an integrated expansion board with battery voltage detection functions and a simplified structure, without unnecessary cables, which allows easy assembly.
It uses a camera dedicated to the interpretation of the navigation environment. The 5MP OV5647 camera offers a wide viewing angle of 160°, capturing clear images and extensive details of the route.
The robot can be controlled by several methods - a wireless gamepad, a web interface for PC or mobile - adding flexibility to the use.

Use:
Follow the guide to assemble the structure and connect the components, such as motors, servo and camera.
Configure PiRacer with DonkeyCar, using TensorFlow and OpenCV for visual processing. You need a compatible micro SD card, loaded with the operating system and the necessary applications.
Power supply and configuration: Insert the 18650 batteries (not included) and check the charge level using the indicator on the PiRacer board. INSERT THE BATTERIES WITH THE CORRECT POLARITY TO AVOID DAMAGE TO THE BOARD!
