The PIR (passive infrared) sensor module, compatible with Arduino and other popular development boards such as Raspberry Pi, Beaglebone and 8051, equipped with the BISS0001 chip.
It is designed for motion detection, ideal for integration into automation, security and robotics projects. It works on a wide range of supply voltages, being compatible with most popular development platforms.
Specifications:
Sensor chip: BISS0001
Operating voltage: 4.5V - 20V DC
Static current: < 60µA
Output level: High 3.3V / Low 0V
Trigger type: repetitive (default) or non-repetitive
Delay time: 8 seconds ±30% (adjustable to a few tenths of a second up to 300 seconds)
PCB dimensions: 40 x 11mm
Detection angle: < 1200° (cone)
Detection distance: up to 3 meters
Working temperature: -20°C to +80°C
Sensor lens dimensions: Diameter 10 mm
Use:
Supply the module with a voltage of 4.5-20V DC.
The default time is 8 seconds, but it can be adjusted according to needs by changing the value of capacitor C1
The board works at a logical voltage of 3.3VDC (on the OUT pin). Depending on the application, a logic level converter may be required. As a rule, 5V boards can receive a 3.3V digital signal.
