Power supply module CA-901 REV: 02, ideal for quick replacement of power supplies in LCD TVs up to 46 inches, but also for repairs of defective power supplies or in applications with switching sources. The module offers a selectable 12V or 24V output, being suitable for use in flyback type power supplies from LCD TVs.
The module uses DC sampling and TL431 feedback to ensure excellent voltage regulation performance.
With a simple connection of the corresponding pads, a 12V or 24V output can be obtained.
The module comes with a thermal transfer pad that will be used between the deck and a radiator, to dissipate the heat produced.
Specifications:
Supply voltage: 300V
Output voltage: 12 or 24V, selectable
Suitable monitor sizes: up to 46 inches
Use: LCD TV
Wires:
Yellow: Connects to the Class D switch tube.
Black: The ground wire connects to the ground pin of the 300V capacitor.
Red: Voltage output between 12 and 18V, depending on the set level
White: Connects to leg four of the optical coupling (FB - feedback).
Green: It is used for start ("start feet").
Installation:
Remove the original switch module and firmly fix the CA-901 module in the original radiator.
Make sure that the anti-peak absorption circuit is working normally and that the secondary load of the transformer is not short-circuited.
After connecting the wires, it is recommended to check the connections by measuring the resistance and voltage before connecting to the main power source.
Voltage setting:
On the back of the board there are two 0 Ohm resistors. If 24V is desired, they remain as they are. If 12V is desired, remove the resistors and make the shorts as detailed in the picture below.
