Undervoltage protection relay module, designed to turn off power to a resistive load when the voltage drops below a preset threshold, preventing deep battery discharge. Once the voltage returns to a safe level, the module automatically reactivates the load.

The undervoltage threshold is adjusted by a multi-turn potentiometer integrated on the board.

The power consumption is low (<10mA in standby) and the design is compact, making it ideal for protecting 12V batteries in various applications and locations.

The module also has two LEDs that indicate its operation and the low voltage condition when detected.

Use:

Pay attention to the battery connections (+ and -) to avoid damaging the module. The polarities are marked directly on the back of the PCB.

Power the module from the battery, it is not necessary to connect the consumer yet. Ideally, for its setting, it is recommended to use an adjustable source that will be set to the voltage at which you want to disconnect the load, which will then be transferred to the battery. Use the potentiometer to adjust the shutdown voltage - clockwise to increase the threshold and counterclockwise to decrease it.

If the load is reactivated immediately after shutdown, a capacitor can be added (>25V, value depends on the load consumption). This is possible because when the load is disconnected there will be an immediate increase in the battery voltage, which the module will detect.

Connect the consumer ensuring that the module is suitable for the type of load used (maximum 10A for resistive loads). A load close to the module limit will lead to premature damage.
