## Description

3-wire NPN inductive sensor, ideal for non-contact detection of metal parts in automation and machinery. Switches on proximity up to 5mm and lights up the red LED for visual confirmation. NO operation, NPN output for easy integration at 10-30VDC, IP67 dust and water resistant housing, can also detect through thin non-metallic materials.

It can detect up to a distance of 5m, depending on the type of surface and its shape.
It can also be used for detection through thin non-metallic surfaces.
It features a red LED that lights up when a metal object is near.
The sensor is of the Normally Open type: the supply voltage will be present on the signal wire if there is no metal surface in contact. The voltage will drop to almost 0 in the presence of contact with a metal surface.
