## Description

Digispark compatible development board with ATtiny85 and integrated USB is ideal for compact automation projects, LED control and simple actuators. It is quickly programmed from the Arduino IDE, powered directly from 5V via USB, includes stable regulator and status LED for testing. It offers 6 digital IO pins, with 3 PWM, and 4 analog inputs for easy sensor connection.
Digispark compatible development board, based on the ATtiny85 microcontroller, programmable via Arduino IDE.
It offers an integrated voltage regulator and a direct USB interface, which can be powered by 5V, and offers 6 digital I/O pins, 3 of which support PWM, making it ideal for controlling LEDs, motors (not directly) or other devices. It also has 4 analog pins, allowing the connection of sensors for precise measurements.
The board also includes an integrated status LED, useful for checking correct operation, and an LED. Depending on the batch, you may need to manually write the bootloader into memory.
Specifications:
Microcontroller: ATtiny85
Power supply: 5V via USB
Integrated voltage regulator: 5VDC, 500mA
I/O: 6 digital pins
PWM: on 3 pins
Analog inputs: 4 pins
Flash memory: 8KB
Status LED: Yes
Use:
For use with Arduino IDE, the following steps are required, with the board not yet connected to the PC :
Board and Driver Installation: Add the following link in File->Preferences->Additional boards manager URLs: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/digistump/arduino-boards-index/master/package_digistump_index.json
Close and wait for the card to download, followed by the automatic installation of the driver (you will have to accept) for Windows.
Arduino IDE Configuration: Select the "Digispark (Default - 16.5MHz)" board from the "Boards" menu. The port is not selectable and does not need to be selected. The board remains unconnected.
Compile: Write the code and press the Upload button, with the board still unplugged. At some point in the Output the following message will appear: " Plug in device now... (will timeout in 60 seconds)". When you see this message, plug in the board within 60 seconds.
You can use the following test code to light up the integrated LED:
void setup()
{ //Set Pins 0 and 1 as outputs. //Some Digisparks have a built-in LED on pin 0, while some have it on //pin 1. This way, we can all Digisparks. pinMode(0, OUTPUT); pinMode(1, OUTPUT); }
void loop()
{ //Set the LED pins to HIGH. This gives power to the LED and turns it on digitalWrite(0, HIGH); digitalWrite(1, HIGH); //Wait for a second delay(1000); //Set the LED pins to LOW. This turns it off digitalWrite(0, LOW); digitalWrite(1, LOW); //Wait for a second delay(1000); }
