## Description

Adjustable step-down converter for stable power supplies in electronic, industrial or automotive projects, accepts 4.5-40V at input and delivers 1.25-35V finely adjustable with multi-turn potentiometer, up to 3A with adequate cooling, high efficiency up to 92% and LED operating indicator, maintains constant output voltage with input variations.
Step Down DC-DC Module 4.5 - 40V 3A, LM2596S, adjustable. This is a buck converter capable of loads up to 3A, with continuous current adjustable via the multiturn potentiometer. Considering that this potentiometer has a 25-turn range, the fine adjustment of the output voltage can be precisely regulated. This switching module maintains the output voltage even when the input voltage changes (however, a minimum voltage difference between input and output is necessary).
The module integrates an LED that displays its operating status. It is connected in series with a 1kOhm resistor. If you set the module above 12V, we recommend removing the LED or replacing the resistor with one of a higher value to avoid burning out the LED and the resistor.
