Direct soldering of the GND wire (without connectors) over the shortest possible distance is recommended for good sound quality.
The module's antenna is sensitive to electromagnetic interference, which can cause problems with signal quality.
In MUTE mode, the module outputs a 3.3V logic level, and during playback 0V. To change this behavior depending on the available amplifier, see the following schematic for inversion.
