## Description

Compact module for measuring UVA and UVB radiation in the 220–370 nm range, with a linear analog output proportional to the intensity, flexible power supply 3.3–5V, and very low consumption of approximately 0.1 mA. It connects directly to the analog input on Arduino, ESP32, or STM32, making it ideal for weather stations, solar monitoring, and UV protection projects.
The UV detection module with GUVA-S12SD photodiode is a compact and efficient solution for measuring ultraviolet radiation in the spectral range 220–370 nm, with maximum sensitivity at 330 nm, covering both UVA and UVB bands.
The module is powered at 3.3V or 5V and connects directly to the analog input of a microcontroller such as Arduino, ESP32, or STM32, making it easy to integrate into various electronic projects.
The sensor provides a linear analog output directly proportional to the intensity of the incident UV radiation, allowing quick integration into any microcontroller-based system with an analog input. Flexible power supply at 3.3V or 5V, extremely low current consumption of about 0.1 mA, and response time under 1 ms make it suitable for both portable applications and fixed installations.
It can be used in solar monitoring systems, weather stations, UV protection applications, educational projects, or any environment where evaluating UV radiation level is necessary, both indoors and outdoors.

Power supply 3.3-5VDC
Usage:
Connect the VCC pin to the power source (3.3V or 5V), the GND pin to ground, and the SIG pin to the microcontroller's analog input.
After powering, the module provides on the SIG pin a DC voltage proportional to the intensity of the detected UV radiation.
Read the analog value through the microcontroller's ADC and convert the voltage into UV intensity using the approximate relation: 1V corresponds to 100 mW/cm².
For accurate results, ensure that the ADC reference voltage corresponds to the module's power supply voltage.
The module can be exposed directly to sunlight or artificial UV sources. Avoid covering the sensor surface with materials that absorb UV radiation.
After powering, the module provides on the SIG pin a DC voltage proportional to the intensity of the detected UV radiation.
