## Description

Compact solution for IoT projects, robotics, and interactive light effects, with ESP32-S3 dual-core 240 MHz and Wi-Fi plus Bluetooth 5 LE Mesh connectivity. It integrates an 8x8 RGB matrix with addressable WS2812 LEDs for animations and displays, a 6-DOF QMI8658 IMU for motion and orientation detection, easy power supply and programming via USB-C, extendable through Dout pin and 17 multifunctional GPIOs.
The ESP32-S3-Matrix development board is a compact and high-performance solution designed for IoT projects, robotics, motion control, and interactive lighting effects. At its core is the ESP32-S3FH4R2 microcontroller, with a dual-core Xtensa LX7 processor running at 240 MHz, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, and Bluetooth 5 LE with Mesh support, offering an excellent balance between performance and small size.
The board integrates an 8x8 RGB matrix consisting of 64 individually addressable WS2812 LEDs, controlled via GPIO14, ideal for displays, animations, and complex lighting effects. The QMI8658C inertial sensor adds 6 degrees of freedom – a 3-axis accelerometer and a 3-axis gyroscope – communicating via I2C, making it suitable for motion detection, orientation, and stabilization applications.
Available memory includes 512KB SRAM, 384KB ROM, 2MB PSRAM, and 4MB Flash, sufficient for complex embedded applications. Power is supplied at 5V through the USB-C port, with an LDO regulator ME6217C33M5G providing stable 3.3V output at up to 800mA. The 17 GPIO pins support SPI, I2C, UART, ADC, and PWM, and a dedicated Dout pin allows extension of the RGB matrix with additional modules.
With dimensions of only 25 x 25 mm and a weight of approximately 1g, the board easily integrates into any project and features RESET and BOOT buttons for quick programming and debugging.
