## Description

The 0.4mm MK8 nozzle ensures precise extrusion and uniform layers for stable 3D printing. The calibrated tip offers good details and consistent flow, the PTFE-coated base reduces material adhesion and the risk of clogging, the wear-resistant construction maintains performance over time, compatible with MK8 hotends for quick replacement.
The MK8 printing nozzle with a 0.4 mm orifice diameter is a replacement part for the extruder of 3D FDM printers that use 1.75 mm filament. The brass body has an outer surface coated with a black PTFE layer, which reduces adhesion of molten plastic to the nozzle tip. It is suitable for replacing a worn or clogged nozzle and for general printing with PLA, ABS, or PETG.
The nozzle has a 0.4 mm outlet orifice and a 1.75 mm filament inlet. It is secured in the heating block with an M6 thread and has the standard MK8 shape. The PTFE layer helps limit material buildup on the tip, while the brass ensures rapid heat transfer to the filament. The black coating withstands temperatures of up to 300 °C.
Its main features include a conical tip with a flat contact surface, a hexagonal body with the 0.4 orifice diameter marked for quick identification, an M6 brass thread, and a black PTFE coating. The nozzle is a passive part, with no electrical power supply, and it is heated by the hotend heating block.
The nozzle is compatible with MK8-type hotends with an M6 thread and 1.75 mm filament, found on printers in the Creality Ender and CR-10 series (except models that use another type of nozzle, such as the CR-10S Pro and CR-X), on some Anet and Sovol models, and on other printers with an MK8 hotend. Before ordering, verify that the printer hotend uses an M6 thread and an MK8-type nozzle.
Specifications:
Type: MK8 printing nozzle
Material: Brass with PTFE coating
Outlet orifice diameter: 0.4 mm
Filament diameter: 1.75 mm
Thread: M6
Maximum temperature: 300 °C
Color: Black (coating), gold (thread)
Usage:
Check that the printer hotend uses an MK8 nozzle with an M6 thread and 1.75 mm filament.
Turn off the printer or let the hotend cool down before any intervention, then heat it again to operating temperature for installation, since nozzles are usually replaced while hot. Do not touch the nozzle or heating block with unprotected hands.
Hold the heating block with a wrench and unscrew the old nozzle with a 6 mm socket wrench, taking care not to deform the block and not to force the heatsink or heatbreak.
Screw the new nozzle into the heating block, then tighten it moderately. Do not overtighten, as the brass thread may be damaged and the block may deform.
If plastic leaks appear at the joint, gently tighten the nozzle while the hotend is at operating temperature.
Do not exceed 300 °C, the temperature specified for the PTFE coating.
Recalibrate the distance between the nozzle and the print bed (Z offset) after replacement, because the length of the new nozzle may differ slightly from the old one.
For stable results, clean the nozzle tip only with soft materials, without abrasive tools that can scratch the PTFE layer, and avoid abrasive filaments (with carbon fiber or glass fiber), which wear the brass.
