The round cap for tactile button is a plastic accessory, green in color, intended for tactile switches with a 12 x 12 mm body and a height of 7.3 mm. It mounts on the square stem of the button and replaces its small tip with a rounder, wider, and more comfortable pressing surface, suitable for control panels, laboratory equipment, DIY projects, and prototypes.
The 12x12x7.3 model corresponds to tactile buttons with four pins, for PCB mounting, from the common 12 x 12 mm family. The cap has a round shape, with a wider rim at the base, and the green color helps quickly distinguish panel functions, such as power, confirm, or active status.

Use:
Before installation, check that the tactile button has a 12 x 12 mm body and a height of 7.3 mm, and that the stem has a square cross-section.
Fit the cap over the top of the button stem so that the inner hole is aligned with the shape of the stem.
Press the cap gently onto the stem until it sits fully on the tactile button.
Do not force the installation and do not press on the cap before aligning it correctly, so as not to damage the stem or the button contacts.
To remove it, pull the cap straight upward, without twisting it and without bending the button stem.
For a uniform panel appearance, use caps of the same height on all buttons and choose different colors for different functions.
