## Description

The 3S Li-Ion/LiPo battery balance plug, with 4-pin XH2.54 connector and 10cm 22AWG silicone cable, allows for quick wire connection directly to the cells for correct charging and balancing. Compatible with most balance chargers that use this standard, it offers stable contact and easy installation in RC or DIY applications.
The 3S balance connector is an XH2.54 connector with 4 pins, equipped with 22AWG silicone wires, 10 cm long, intended for lithium batteries in a 3S configuration (3 cells in series). The stripped wire ends connect directly to the battery cells, according to its specifications. The connector is suitable for making or repairing balance cables, for extensions, and for connecting battery packs to balance chargers.
A 3S pack requires 4 balance conductors, meaning the pack negative and one connection point after each cell. For this reason, the connector has 4 positions, and the cable has four wires, one red and three black. The wires are 22AWG with silicone insulation, a flexible material that withstands soldering heat well. The 10 cm cable length is sufficient for short connections inside a pack or between the pack and an adapter.
Among the main features are the white XH-type plastic housing with 4 positions, stripped and tinned wire ends prepared for soldering or connection, and the flexible silicone cable. The connector has no own power supply, and its operating voltage is the battery voltage to which it is connected.
The connector is compatible with most balance chargers that use the XH 4-pin connector for 3S batteries. It is not suitable for packs with a different number of cells, which use connectors with a different number of pins.
Specifications:
Maximum connector voltage: 250 V AC / DC
Rated current: 3 A
Compatibility: 3S lithium batteries
Connector type: XH2.54
Number of pins: 4P
Cable: 22AWG silicone
Cable length: 10 cm
Use:
Check that the battery is 3S and that the charger has a balance output with a 4-pin XH connector.
Work with the battery disconnected from the charger and from any load, and make sure the stripped wires do not touch each other to avoid short circuits.
Identify the battery’s connection points according to its specifications and measure the voltage between the negative wire and each balance point with a multimeter. The values should increase gradually, by approximately one cell voltage at each point.
Connect the connector wires to the battery in this order: pack negative, then cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3 (pack positive). The positions in the connector must match the same order as on the charger connector.
Solder or connect the wires one by one and insulate each joint with heat-shrink tubing before moving on to the next wire.
Do not reverse the wires, as an incorrect order can damage the charger or the battery.
Insert the connector into the charger’s balance connector until it locks in place, respecting the housing’s locking direction, then set the charger to 3S.
Do not use the connector for high charge or discharge currents. For those, use the battery’s power cables and power connectors.
For safe operation, keep the cable intact, without broken wires or damaged insulation, and do not pull on the wires when removing the connector. Pull on the connector housing.
