Usage:
Insert the adapter’s 3.5 mm male plug into the device’s combined headphone and microphone port until it is fully seated.
Connect the headset or speaker plug to the green female jack and the microphone plug to the pink female jack, following the color code.
Do not use the adapter on a computer that has two separate jacks, one for headphones and one for the microphone, because in this case an adapter with the reverse connection is required.
Check that the device and the headset use the same contact assignment for the 4-contact plug, because there are two different standards, CTIA and OMTP. If the microphone does not work, use an adapter with the appropriate standard.
Select the headphone output and microphone input in the device’s sound settings if they are not selected automatically.
