## Description

WiFi Shield to quickly add ESP8266 connectivity to Arduino boards, directly compatible with UNO R3, Mega 2560 and Leonardo, can also work independently as ESP-12E with all pins accessible. It has an integrated 3.3V level converter, 4 DIP switches for selecting the working mode, programming via USB or OTA and support for AP and Station.
This expansion board allows the Wi-Fi connection of an Arduino development board. The board can also be used independently of Arduino , having available all the characteristic pins of the ESP-12E board.
The board is inspected before shipping to ensure that it comes from the manufacturer with J1Y transistors (the correct one). If it has other transistors, they are replaced by us and the board is tested.
All digital pins, except D0 have interrupted, PWM, I2C and One Wire .
The board can be programmed via USB or OTA and is compatible with Arduino IDE, plus the entire range of sensors available for Arduino boards.
The board is directly compatible with UNO R3, Mega 2560, Leonardo and other similar boards, but it can also be connected to smaller boards such as Nano or Pro Mini for example (in these cases only by wires).
The board has 4 DIP switches for selecting the operating mode:
- WiFi Shield for Arduino
- AT commands via Arduino
- Firmware upgrade via external USB serial port
- Standalone mode
The fact that it is in the form of a shield allows connecting other modules easily.
The ADC pin is available in two versions on the board:
- Pin 0-1V
- Pin 0-3.3V
The shield uses pins D0 and D1 for serial communication with the Arduino board. If these pins are occupied, it is not possible to load the code into the board or serial monitoring.
