The SOIC8 SOP8 test clip allows in-circuit reading and programming of 93CXX and 25CXX EEPROM memories and BIOS chips without soldering, by directly clipping onto the chip. It has 8 contacts with a 1.27 mm pitch, fits both narrow and wide SOP8 packages, and the 8-wire cable connects to the included adapter board for direct use in programmers such as the CH341A.
The SOIC8 / SOP8 test clip is an accessory for reading and programming serial memories without removing the chip from the board, by directly clipping the clamp over the 8-pin package.
