Inductive proximity sensorSN04-N2, NPN, NC, for non-contact detection of metallic objects. The integrated LED indicator clearly displays the operating status, facilitating the monitoring of the activity in real time.
The detection distance is 4 mm MAXIMUM, with a tolerance of ±10%, perfectly adapting to magnetic and non-magnetic metals (with reduced sensitivity for the latter).
The construction is robust and offers IP68 protection, the sensor resistant to dust and moisture, being ideal for industrial environments.
It works at a voltage of 10-30V DC and supports an output current of maximum 300mA, effectively integrating into the control circuits.
It has mounting holes for easy fixing and a 120 cm long cable.
Specifications:
Supply voltage: 10-30V DC
Output current: Maximum 300 mA
Detection distance: 4 mm ±10%
Detected objects: Magnetic and non-magnetic metals (less detection distance for non-magnetic)
Optimal target size: Metal 18x18x1mm
Switching status indication: integrated LED
Frequency response: 0.5 kHz
Output: 3 wires (Vcc, GND, NPN NC)
Protection: IP68
Cable length: 120 cm
Use
Secure the sensor using the mounting holes and fix it on the desired surface, at an optimal distance from the metal target.
Correctly connect the wires to the power supply and the control circuit, following the NPN NC scheme (wires: Vcc, GND, NPN output).
Check the LED to track the status of the sensor in real time – the light indicates the activation or detection of an object.
* Carefully check the voltage marked on the sensor. The recommended voltage is between 10 and 30VDC.
